Unique collectors piece featuring a huge snake skeleton mounted on emerald green upholstery velvet and embellished with a total of 10 preserved specimens. This incredibly detailed scene is the most intricate work we’ve ever listed and it’s easy to find yourself staring into it for hours on end!

Featured Specimens:
- Black Copper Rat Snake Skeleton (52cm coiled)
- Acherontia styx (Death’s Head Hawkmoth) x 2
- Cyriopagopus lividus (Cobalt Blue Tarantula)
- Heterometrus cyaneus(Blue Forest Scorpion

- Cryptotympana acuta (Black Wing Cicada)

An abundance of preserved botanicals have been used to create the forest like scene. The entire artwork is handcrafted, from the rehydration and mounting of the specimens to the meticulously placed flowers and moss.

The frame is vintage - circa 1930 - including the original bubble glass. The frame itself is an antique quality item and crafted from timber. At 60cm in height and 44cm wide, this is an amazingly proportioned piece of original art!
