The background is handmade blue silk paper set against a silver background which showcases the stunning detail in the paper. A timber inlay and black vintage style corners complete this one of a kind artwork.
The teeth on these are incredibly sharp; The shape of a piranha’s tooth is frequently compared to that of a blade and is clearly adapted to suit their meat-eating diet. The actual tooth enamel structure is very similar to sharks!.
There are over 60 species of Piranha in their native South America and they all possess razor sharp teeth. Most are carnivorous fish who are more than capable of living up to their ferocious reputation. Whilst they are primarily known as a scavenging feeder, they can hunt in groups to bring down larger prey such as capybaras!
