Rare - Actias groenendaeli acutapex in Shadow Box
These specimens are incredibly rare- Actias groenendaeli acutapex, commonly known as the Giant Silk Moth, are from the Saturniidae family and found across South East Asia. They are some of the most beautiful moths in the world and have a distinctive crescent moon shaped marking on each wing.
The moth is mounted on an antique style timber inlay and is adorned by intricate embellishments.
The quality frame includes a folding strut in the reverse for easy display in your cabinet of curiosities. A genuine glass cover is included.
